Unusual request - If anyone's got an extra copy of the issue of DJ with the review of "Spaces/Leisure" that they'd be willing to mail me, send me an email. I'd be happy to pay the cost of the magazine, postage, etc.

No updates for a while...sorry about that. Web access was limited in Japan so I couldn't maintain the journal as things happened and, since it's over now, there's not much sense in making journal entries about the trip...except to say that it was an amazing experience and the folks at Third Ear and Sonar are fantastic.

There's an official press release for Sonar floating around the web now, in which I'm referred to as "[t]he most emotional and darkest DJ on the avant garde tech-house scene."

Darkest?
Avant garde?
DJ?

It's funny to read other people's descriptions of your music. I always thought my music was kinda light and sweet, and not the least bit avant garde.

Jeff Mills is playing in Tokyo the night I arrive. I've never seen him live so this should be a treat.

My tickets to Japan arrived today. So now it's not only confirmed - it's inevitable.
I'm definitely excited about going, but I'm not too thrilled about the idea of a NONSTOP flight from New York to Tokyo. In coach. With the time change, I land a little more than an entire day after I leave.
